Lambo Pet Carrier Review

The fab folks from Pet Magasin recently sent  us a Lambo convertible back pack/pet carrier to take on a test drive. We have three dogs, but Charlie is the only one who likes being carried around. He not only likes being carried around, he loves it. We've tried all manner of carriers and makeshift carrying solutions, including a large fleece blanket wrapped and knotted into a sling which we dubbed the Fur-ever Baby. First things first, this is a serious upgrade from the Fur-ever Baby.

After opening the box, we assembled the carrier, which wasn't difficult. There's a hard bottom insert to give the carrier structure. Once you have that in place, you're ready to go. In fact, you're ready to go almost anywhere because this backpack converts to an airline approved pet carrier! It even has side vents you can open to expand and give your pet more air and space. Think of it as a portable pup tent!

As you can see, Charlie needed to decide how he felt about being in the backpack.

He took just a moment to sniff, adjust, and check it out.

Then he settled in and relaxed. It didn't take long for him to decide he liked it. He really, really liked it.

He didn't waste any time letting our other two dogs know what was what.

I was impressed with the quality of the backpack for the price. It folds flat for storage, but is easy to open and get ready for the road. The zippers are sturdy.  It's well constructed from a durable, heavy duty, waterproof material. The straps are comfortable and it's very easy to convert it from backpack to carrier with a few zips. There's also a leash connector inside, to prevent your dog from leaping out if he gets excited, as terriers sometimes do.

Charlie and I liked this carrier. We're going to enjoy it over the coming months. If you have a smaller dog or a cat, and you're looking for an affordable, durable, convertible pet carrier, the Lambo Pet Magasin Premium Pet Travel Carrier Backpack just might fit the bill.

We were provided this backpack for review. The links in this post are affiliated based, if you click on a link and make a purchase we get a small percentage of the sale.
