Post-Thanksgiving Lady Party Live

Hello, Gorgeous!

'Twas the day after Thanksgiving, and all through the house...
...not much was happening except an OCD search for a pencil tree,

and the ceremonial reheating of leftovers.

Yup, that about covers it.

Oh and there was a Lady Party. 'Cuz there ain't no party like a lady party. You can interpret that statement as you see fit. Above is the aforementioned party for ladies and others whereupon we talk about our favorite holiday songs, looking for Christmas trees, and various and sundry other such nonsense. There is also singing. You have been warned.

My daughter came home from college for the festivities, which weren't terribly festive but they were cozy and relaxing. I had grand designs on trimming trees and decking halls but I wasn't feeling so hot and the days got away from me. All will unfold as it will and I will try not to worry about it.

I'll reserve my worry for our Twitterer-in-Chief. Good lordy Louise, someone please take his phone away and give him a binky and a time out, for the love of Pete.

And with that, I'm off to write more of my book. Huzzah!
