I discovered Farmacy Beauty a few years ago. Their farm to face approach to skin care is refreshingly unique. The products are phenomenal, and made from natural ingredients married with cutting edge biochemistry. The core element of the line is a unique patented strain of the echinacea flower, which they call echinacea greenenvy™. My favorite product from Farmacy is Honey Potion, a renewing hydration mask made from the honey of their echinacea greenenvy flower. I savor every last drop of this rich, thick, warming cream. It heats up after you spread it on your skin with the metal applicator wand that stays attached to the lid when you aren't using it with a magnet. So clever. Let it sit on your face for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Once you wash it off, you will be amazed at how fresh, dewy, and soft your skin is. A little goes a long way, it spreads on like honey and then turns into a lighter cream. I also love the jar, which you can save and re-purpose later, if you're crafty like that. (4.1oz/$56.00)

Ella+Mila After Party nail polish adds perfect touch of sparkle to your manicure. Who doesn't love a little sparkle? If confetti glittered fingertips are a problem at the office, add a little to your toes. Just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't treat your feet to a little fun. Best of all, Ella+Mila is made in the USA. It's vegan, cruelty free, PETA certified, and does not contain formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, or camphor. (.5 oz/$11.39)

I know you may be thinking, "I'm not a baby!" Well, neither am I. However, I've been a fan of Burt's Bees Nourishing Baby Oil since my daughter was a baby-and I've always been a fan of babying my skin. This light weight oil is perfect for after shower or bath and it smells heavenly. Made with apricot and grape seed oil, no phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, SLS, or animal testing. This all natural, extravagent oil will be your go to all winter long for baby soft skin. (4 fl. oz/$5.82)

Years ago when I gave birth to my daughter, I burned a Way Out Wax lavender candle. Handcrafted in Vermont from 100% GMO free, organic soy wax and scented with pure lavender essential oil, this candle gives you 65 hours of burn time! When we opened our fair trade gallery, we carried these candles and they made the store smell divine. I have asthma, so I am very sensitive to smells. These are heavenly. Remove the label, and you'll reveal a beautiful cobalt blue glass jar. Turn the lights down, fill up the tub, and light this candle. Pure bliss. (7.75 oz./$19.50)

Winter cold combined with extended exposure to indoor heat leads to dry skin. Hands and feet need extra moisture. J.R. Watkins hand creme with rich shea butter comes in a variety of all natural scents including Lemon Cream, Coconut Milk & Honey, Lavender, Green Tea, Grapefruit, and Pomegranate with Acai. Made in the USA, no animal testing, paraben and chparabens, pthalates, propylene glycol, and dye free. Not overly scented or greasy, keep one in your bath, one in your bag, and one at the office. (3.3 oz./$4.55)

Nothing melts the cares away better than a soothing bubble bath. When I travel, I get up extra early to soak in the tub before starting my day. The Honest Co. was started by actress Jessica Alba. This plant based, hypoallergenic Honest Bubble Bath is free of SLS, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, dyes, formaldehyde donors, MEA, DEA, and TEA. Never tested on animals, it comes in three delicious scents and a fragrance free version. It's chock full of enriching extracts and oils combined with organic botanicals. (12 fluid oz./$9.77)

  1. But, the Vodka! Where's the Vodka?! I can never have too many candles or hand creams. Thanks for the great ideas. Sure would love to feel some sunshine, too.
