Four Roses Bourbon: Apple Claus Cocktail Recipe

FTC Disclosure: Thank you to the folks from Four Roses for sending us a bottle of their Small Batch Bourbon to sample. Yum!

One of the regular features here at The Lady Party is a weekly cocktail recipe. Why? Because we have cocktails...and opinions. Also because we host a weekly virtual cocktail party. Most of all, because we love you. We at The Lady Party encourage responsible drinking. All cocktail recipes are exclusively intended for readers 21 and over. This week, we're sharing a luscious libation crafted from Four Roses Bourbon by bartender Laura Moore of the Epicurean Hotel.

We begin with Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon,  four time distiller of the year winner from Whisky Magazine.

1 1/2 oz Four Roses Bourbon Small Batch

Then we mix and mingle few key ingredients...

3/4 oz Apple Cinnamon Tea syrup
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
Dash of angostura bitters

Shake this over ice and strain into a chilled coupe and top with sparkling beverage of your choosing (prosecco, cava, champagne, or hard apple cider.)

So many bubbles, so little time.

Garnish with an apple slice...sit back, sip, and enjoy.

Four Roses handcrafts 10 distinct and extraordinary Bourbon recipes then mingles them by hand to create their family of award-winning brands. Artistry such as this is how they survived Prohibition, The Great Depression, Two World Wars, and 40 years of exile from the US, only to be named four time American Whisky Distiller of the Year for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015 by Whisky Magazine.

Now that's a story, and a libation, we can heartily support.

Cheers,
Madge
